Cassi is the OACD Treasurer. She joined the team at Wheeler Soil and Water Conservation District in 2019 as the Administrative Manager. She intermed as District Manager on two occasions before accepting the position officially in April of 2023. With less than one person per mile, the District encompasses the true frontier country. As natural resources are the pride of Wheeler County, the SWCD strategically addresses natural resource concerns by prioritizing watersheds and landscapes with assistance from federal, state, and local partners, including Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs.
